What's Included
You'll earn 28 CE contact hours upon successful completion of the course, advancing your professional development while growing personally and energetically.
Pre- and post-assessments of stress and self-transcendence will deepen your holistic self-awareness.
You'll access materials to learn at your own pace, ensuring the course fits seamlessly into your busy schedule. While live attendance is required for most sessions, recordings will be available in case you miss or want to review sessions.
You'll provide a healing session for instructor observation and receive feedback from both your “healee” and the instructor, helping you refine and build confidence in your skills.
In addition to online discussion and live sessions, you will exchange heart-healing sessions with other participants. This opens the door to truly sustainable living by deepening your ability to receive as well as give meaningful support, heart to heart.
You'll develop foundational techniques by exploring your own heart-energy during weeks 1-4 and practicing with others during weeks 5-8, guided by live instruction and self-paced materials.
You'll join a 1.5-hour live session each week with me that includes a presentation, guided healing practice, and group discussion to deepen your understanding and connect with fellow nurses in the community.
You'll spend 1.5 hours per week reading materials, practicing healing techniques, and contributing to online discussions to integrate the teachings into your daily life.
This activity has been submitted to the American Holistic Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. The American Holistic Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

You’re curious about energy healing but unsure where to start and looking for a safe, guided, and science-supported introduction.
You want to create positive change in your community by learning sustainable healing practices that replenish your energy instead of draining it.
You feel overwhelmed, stressed, and burnt out by the demands of nursing and need healing to help you create the life you want to be living
You seek continuing education that enriches your personal healing while meeting professional requirements with CE credits.
You value connection and community with like-minded holistic nurses who understand the unique challenges and joys of your profession.
You crave alternative, holistic tools to care for yourself and your patients beyond the limitations of traditional healthcare practices.
I want to teach you everything I know about Heart-Energy Healing in the hopes that we can create the positive change we’ve all been craving.
My heart aches when I hear talk of an ongoing a nursing “shortage” ... when we really have a nursing retention issue.
Because, like you, I’m not about to sacrifice my health (or my life) for a nursing job that doesn’t actually care about me or the work I do.
But I have personally witnessed the transformative power of heart-energy healing and feel, in my bones, that this practice can give you the healing, peace, and energy to go back into the trenches without stress, burnout, or overwhelm.
And I want that for you, too.

You might have your doubts about all the “energetics” I keep talking about, but if you think about it you’ll remember that your heart literally beats because of energy.
Yes, I’m talking about the heart’s electrical conduction, which impacts every organ system and generates the magnetic field that extends beyond your physical body.
It’s true that the role of subtle energy has been mostly overlooked in standard Western medicine, but it is central to traditional healing methods around the world.
Nursing research has been pivotal in the growing evidence base for energy healing. Your critical skepticism and openness to unexpected outcomes are essential to nursing science.

I've got answers.
Still got questions?
Q. Who is this course for?
This energy healing training is for nurses who are ready to explore the healing potential of the heart — not just for their patients, but for themselves first and foremost.
It’s designed for those who want to overcome burnout, cultivate emotional resilience, and integrate holistic nursing practices into their personal and professional lives.
Whether you’re new to energy healing or looking to deepen your skills, this course provides a safe, inclusive space to grow as both a healer and a person.
Q. I’ve never done this before. Do I need prior experience with energy healing?
No prior experience is necessary. Stepping outside your comfort zone is a vital part of growth, and I’ve created a safe, inclusive environment where you’ll be supported every step of the way.
The course progresses gradually, starting with self-healing and building toward working with others. You’ll gain tools to connect more deeply with yourself first and then with others, making this experience transformative both personally and professionally.
Q. What can I expect during the course?
Over eight weeks, you’ll be on a transformative journey of self-healing. Each course includes a blend of self-paced learning (1.5 hours/week) and live educational sessions (1.5 hours/week), where you’ll practice techniques like Heart-Rhythm Meditation, energy sensing, and hands-on healing.
Each week builds on the last, starting with self-care and cardiac coherence before progressing to energy healing for yourself and then for others. You’ll also join a supportive community of nurse-healers, engage in discussions, and receive personalized feedback during your clinical demonstration.
Unique to this course is the emphasis on receiving care from yourself and from others. And after the course ends I encourage you to remain in the community and continue exchanging Heart-Energy Healing sessions with each other as part of the Nurses Healing Nurses Network.
Q. Do I need any special equipment for this course?
I recommend a good comfortable but not-too-cushy chair that allows you to sit upright with feet flat on the floor for the meditative practices. The skills of Heart Energy Healing can be practiced in any setting where you can feel yourself breathe and check your pulse. But it helps to have a quiet, dedicated room for sinking into your experience. Course participation requires a personal computer with a webcam and microphone and a reliable internet connection.
Q. I’m not sure I can attend all the live sessions. Will that affect my participation?
While live attendance is encouraged to foster community and provide real-time feedback, I understand that life happens. That’s why recordings of each live session are available for you to review on your own time.
A key theme of the course is that healing happens in connection with others, so we ask that you attend at least 75% of the live sessions in real-time to build meaningful connections and engage with the group. This balance of flexibility and commitment makes it easier to fit the course into your busy schedule while still getting the most out of the experience.
Q. What if I really am too busy to commit to this course right now?
I designed this course with busy nurses in mind. The self-paced component allows you to complete the work on your schedule, with just 1.5 hours of self-paced work each week, broken into manageable segments of roughly 30 minutes each for reading, practice, and discussion. Live sessions are only 1.5 hours per week and offer opportunities for connection and real-time learning.
Many find that this work actually creates more time in their life; activating heart-energy allows for greater flow and creative efficiency as less time is spent spinning our wheels in frustration. However, if you’re concerned that you won’t be able to make it work for your schedule, you can contact me for further information to see how we can make this course work for you.
Q. I’m not sure I need another certification. Will this course actually help me in my career?
Absolutely. The skills you’ll learn will help you regulate your emotions, connect more deeply with your patients, and navigate the challenges of nursing with greater clarity and resilience — going beyond traditional nursing education. Plus, the course is approved for CE credits, so it meets professional requirements while also offering unique value that enhances your well-being and practice.
Q. Is there ongoing support after the course?
Yes! Upon completing the course, you’ll have access to the Nurses Healing Nurses community for continued connection and mutual support. You can also continue to join my free monthly Heart Meditations whenever you’d like.
Q. What if I’m not sure this is the right fit for me?
I understand this is a big decision. I remember my uncertainty when I was wondering whether to take the plunge into this work, and I would love to chat with you as you make your decision. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out for more information.
